BMD: Vectraxx personnel have been involved with the Ballistic Missile Defense (BMD) Benchmark since 2001. We have integrated multiple target tracking algorithms and implemented new sensor models into the BMD Benchmark. In addition, we are the lead beta tester for the BMD Benchmark and hold a seat on the Configuration Control Board. Our unique position and relationship with Georgia Tech (the manager of the BMD Benchmark) and MDNT-B allows us to easily implement new capabilities or algorithms into the BMD Benchmark.
MIMO: Starting in 2009, Vectraxx as a subcontractor to Georgia Tech was the initial developer of this new Benchmark variant. The Multiple Input, Multiple Output (MIMO) Benchmark allows research into using this technology with radar. MIMO has long been applied in the communications environment, and now with this Benchmark, the technology can be tested and developed in a high fidelity simulation.
AAV: The Autonomous Air Vehicle (AAV) Benchmark started in 2010 with some low level money to Georgia Tech from the Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR). In 2011, Vectraxx picked up the development of the AAV Benchmark with a SBIR contract from NAVAIR. This Benchmark includes the sensor and platform model for the BAMS. It also includes small ship platforms and routes as well as other air platforms. |
