Research on Probabilistic Multi-Hypothesis Tracker (PMHT). Starting with his thesis research in 1996, Darin Dunham has conducted extensive research on the PMHT algorithm. His thesis research dealt with tracking targets underwater, but has extended this to include air targets. In particular, Mr. Dunham’s research to date has focused on improving tracking performance as well as processing speeds. Furthermore, he clearly understands the vast array of research conducted on the PMHT by others in the field.
Fusion Processing with the PMHT. Working in the ballistic missile defense arena, Vectraxx has implemented a first phase composite tracking network utilizing the PMHT algorithm. This research has focused on integrating the tracker into the BMD Benchmark. Innovative advances utilizing local sensor tracker information for track management was leveraged in this effort.
