Improving Target Tracking Algorithms and Techniques

MHT

Distributed Composite Multiple Hypothesis Tracking (MHT). In 2001, while working with target tracking experts at Raytheon Systems Company, Vectraxx developed logic and algorithms in order to maintain a Single Integrated Air Picture (SIAP) across multiple platforms tracking multiple missile targets. As part of this research the track-based MHT was integrated into the Ballistic Missile Defense (BMD) Benchmark as composite trackers on several different platforms, both ship-based and ground-based. High fidelity sensors with false alarms, unresolved closely spaced targets, radar cross-section (RCS), and communication delays made this a very challenging problem.
